We can provide UN Certification for Corrugated boxes approved by the Indian Institute of Packing to supply IMDGA approved cartons for Export of Toxic Material. We have in house facility to print Two Color on large boxes.

Quality Assurance

Overview

The organization aims for total customer satisfaction and quality products. We, at Sigma Packaging, undertake quality testing in all the manufacturing stages. All our products confirm to the international norms and we use best techniques to carry out the quality control tests for our product range, which not only ensure the lower quantum of wastage but also ensure the expected standards of quality.

We are also working towards ISO 9001:2000 accreditations to further strengthen our commitment to quality.

BUSTING STRENGTH TESTER

The force required for bursting or complete rupture of the board is measured through a Digital Indicator. The bursting strength defines the materials quality as compared to the others.

COMPRESSION STRENGTH TESTER

When a specimen of material is loaded in such a way that it extends it is said to be in tension. On the other hand, if the material compresses and shortens it is said to be in compression.

COBB TESTER

The Cobb test determines the amount of water absorbed into the surface by a sized (non-bibulous) paper, paperboard, and corrugated fibreboard paper or paperboard sample in a set period of time.

TENSILE STRENGTH TESTER

Tensile testing, also known as tension testing, is a fundamental materials science and engineering test in which a sample is subjected to a controlled tension until failure.

EDGE CRUSH TESTER

The edge crush test is a laboratory test method that is used to measure the cross-direction crushing of a sample of corrugated board. It gives information on the ability of a particular board construction to resist crushing.

MOISTURE TESTER

A Testo moisture meter (also called a thermohygrometer, hygrometer or humidity meter) measures humidity and material moisture reliably, quickly and precisely.

GSM TESTER

GSM is one of the most basic tests which stands for Grams per Square Meter. It is also known as the “grammage” and is the weight of 1 square meter of sample.
